Shopping for the things needed for my son Yogi’s recognition day at school and for his birthday was really an adventure. First off, my credit card provider’s terminal was having problems which made it impossible for me to use my credit card. I then had to use my cash which I was supposed to use for other things.
Next, the barcode scanner of the cashier at the second mall I went to to buy my birthday gifts for Yogi was messing up, thus, I had to jump to another cashier’s booth which meant I had to fall in line again in another long queue.
That was an adventure, but not exactly the kind I like; there were no excitement and thrills or romance involved; just aggravation and irritation. Nevertheless, it was still no biggy for me for it was another bonding moment for my son and I, and despite those mishaps, we still managed to enjoy the day as well as the snacks we had. (“,)
