Little Masseur

I’ve been having occasional headaches lately but gladly, I have my little masseur to the rescue. I’m referring to my 6-year-old son who is always good to go whenever I ask him to massage my head, or my hands or my legs. I never heard him complained ever since and that’s because he enjoys doing it. He would put lotion on my hands and legs, or powder and sometimes mix it all together. There were times too that he would put cologne on them. So amusing and I just let him. Feeling his little fingers on my scalp is really refreshing and yes, it did take my headache away.

Chocolates From Norway

Yogi’s godmother who is now working in Norway sent these chocolates last Christmas. She knows it is mine and Yogi’s weakness. And this was just the first among the many chocolates that she has given us. And there’s more coming soon, actually.

They are so yummy really. They are both dark chocolates and guess what? The chocolates were gone in less than an hour because Yogi and I gobbled them like we’ve just eaten chocolates for the first time. Hee hee.

Well, you know how delicious chocolates are so it’s understandable why we didn’t waste any time to eat them all. LOL.

Fun Day For Yogi

It’s a national holiday today so there’s no class for the kiddos. And whenever it is like this, more often than not, my nephews are here at home. They always like to hang out here. They would either play computer games, watch cartoons on TV or simply play outside.

And Yogi is always delighted whenever his cousins are here because they are his playmates. At this time, I can hear them playing outside. They’ve been playing from the moment his cousins arrived this morning and they stayed outside most of the day. I think they’re playing war games again. No problem, for as long as no one gets hurt.

Scooby Doo and Shaggy

You might think that this is my son Yogi’s toy, huh? Nah-a! My fiance’ took this photo at his brother’s house on Christmas Eve. I forgot to ask him on what prompted him to take a shot of Scooby and Shaggy but most probably, he was amused with the toys or perhaps, they were his favorite cartoon characters. I still have to find that out. LOL.

My son Yogi’s eyes were all aglow when he found out that mom had the cable reconnected. It means one thing then – that he will get to watch his favorite channel “Cartoon Network” once again.

More often than not, he would play computer games as soon as he got home from school. Surprisingly, yesterday was different. He instantly turned the television on as soon as he changed his clothes and watched cartoon shows from then on until dinner time. He actually slept around 10:30 p.m. already.

I’ll just let him watch as much as he want to for now. Exams is in two weeks yet though so no biggy.

Pre-Finals Exam

Yogi’s teacher and the one who tutors him sent me an sms the other day that exams will be next week already. That’s all she said so I was wondering how come they will have their exams so early. It’s still February and usually, finals is in March.

I went to their school earlier to pay Yogi’s tuition so I asked the principal how come it was so early only to find out that it’s only the pre-finals examination and not the fourth grading period yet. Okay, now I know.

Yogi’s now being prepared for the pre-finals exams by his tutor so I don’t have to worry a thing about it. (“,)

y8 and y3

Those who are addicted to computer games would certainly know what y8 and y3 are. For those who doesn’t know, they are the game sites of yahoo – y8.com and y3.com respectively. And those sites are what my son Yogi opens every single day whenever he arrives from school and during weekends.

The sites have about a hundred if not a thousand games in it. He played different games in a day though I had noticed that there were days wherein he played this particular game called Jude Law. It’s a war game and he enjoys it a lot. I’m not into those kinds of games so I just watch him play from time to time.

More often than not, he plays while I was talking to my BA on skype which is okay with me since I get to talk to my BA without Yogi whining or disturbing us. LOL.

Toy Astronaut

My son Yogi’s toy which was a gift from his godmother Jade last Christmas. Jade is now based in Norway and is working as a nurse there. She sent her family lots of gifts last Christmas and she’d never forgotten to send Yogi some gifts too. That’s so sweet of her, huh!

The toy astronaut came with toy cars and bunches of yummy dark chocolates. I enjoyed the chocolates a lot! (“,)

Lightning McQueen

My son Yogi’s an avid fan of the movie Cars. He actually watched the movie numerous times on DVD. So, I got him a remote-controlled Lightning McQueen car on Christmas. And as expected, he was overjoyed to see what’s inside the box that I wrapped myself.

I took this picture before I wrapped it because I know for certain that I won’t be able to take a photo of it once Yogi got hold of it already. Isn’t it nice?

School Christmas Party

December 18th was Montessori School’s Christmas party for all grade levels. Parents and teachers decided to have the party at 4 o’clock in the afternoon until 8 o’clock in the evening to avoid the heat of the sun. As you can see in the pictures, the sun was already down when it started and it was already dark when the party ended.

The kids had a blast. The program started with parlor games. Dinner followed afterwards then the exchanging of gifts. As expected, the kids smile with glee as they opened their presents that are mostly toys. Yogi received a set of twelve toy cars as gift.

A raffle draw was also part of the program and I was lucky to be one of the winners but I will write about that soon.

The party ended with fireworks display that everybody enjoyed watching. Merry Christmas!!!
