Karate Kid

My son is my unico hijo so he doesn’t have playmates not unless our neighbors will come over or will invite him. But when we are out like in the mall or restaurants, he would play by himself. He would entertain himself by playing karate like he is the Karate Kid.

I took these photos when we were at my husband’s favorite restaurant bar. While waiting for him talking to his friends, I just sit on one of the corner tables near the restrooms and Yogi felt bored that he started his karate once again. He faced the cigarette machine and made it his enemy. LOL.

His enemy - the cigarette machine.Poor machine. (“,)

Another anticOne of his karate movements.

With Honors

Day 26th of this month marked my son Yogi’s recognition day for the school year 2009 – 2010 of Montessori School of General Santos City. I definitely didn’t miss it for the world for it’s another milestone for my little one who was recognized for being an honor student which really made me a proud mom.

There’s Yogi accepting his certificate with me beside him together with the school principal and his adviser. I haven’t had much pictures taken for I was caught off guard. I just got there a few minutes after his name was called. (“,)

Congratulations, Yogi! Continue making mommy proud. Mwah!

A Win-Win Situation For Me

I’m planning to enroll Yogi for extra classes this summer like I did last year. It’s not going to be lsat prep, though, since he’s still too young for that. He’s only 6-years-old and he is still having difficulty with his reading ability. I want him to be a fast reader, so I’ll enroll him in reading classes.

I told my friend who is supervising a playroom at the mall, and she informed me that they are offering summer classes, plus free unlimited playing at the playroom afterwards. Yogi would be delighted with that idea, for sure. And I guess me too since I’d get to window shop, if not totally shop till I drop while Yogi’s having his tutorials and playing. Great idea, eh! Gotta love it!

Breaky is Served!

Our last breaky for the entire hospital admission. Surprisingly, Yogi ate all of these so I had to buy myself food from the cafeteria. We were also given chocolate drink and I had it for myself since Yogi doesn’t want to drink it.

We were in the middle of our breakfast when the doctor arrived giving us his orders. Thanks a lot! We’re going home at last.
