I Love Those Road Trips

The year is coming to an end and all I can say, we’ve been totally blessed this year. The three of us have bonded a lot with the trips we’ve made and I couldn’t be any happier. The husband and I have talked that hopefully, we get to go somewhere every year. It shouldn’t have to be grand for as long as we get to see a new place and enjoy it. Not to mention, the three of us are together.

We actually had plans this year that we weren’t able to do. Hopefully we get to make it next year and I do hope too that I’ll get to avail of great deals on vacation rental homes. Wish me luck!

Road Wrinkles

I woke up so sluggish today though I had enough sleep last night. I guess it is because of the long trip that we had yesterday. I was exhausted and when I looked at the mirror this morning, it seems like I looked so haggard and my fine lines had multiplied.

Does that mean that I have to grab a bottle of dermitage the soonest possible time? Or maybe I just need to rest more? Whatever it takes, I will certainly do my best to get rid of this haggard face. I always want to look beautiful to my Honey, you know.

Hyperactive As Always!

Who else am I referring to, but my 8-year-old son who is certainly a typical kid who doesn’t seem to get tired at all. Our more or less twelve hour road trip yesterday made me exhausted and I was really out of energy when we got home, but not him. He was still hyperactive as always and even played with the neighbors while I was dead in bed. LOL.

The husband was still full of energy too. Whoa! I think I need to work on it, huh so I will not be left behind. Poor me! Hmmm, I might go into some exercise regimen so I will always be good-to-go like them. I think that is the best thing to do. Hmmm, let me get started. I just hope I will even have the energy to start. Hee hee.

It’s A Ship!

Mom left for Zamboanga City this afternoon to attend a conference of a church organization wherein she’s a member. She went with nine other members and they traveled through boat rather than plane because it’s what most of them wanted.

Dad took her to the pier around 4 o’clock today and the little one was giddy to come along because he has never seen a ship up close ever since. I didn’t go with them because no one’s going to be left here. They stayed there for like an hour and when they arrived from the pier, Yogi sounded so excited telling me the whole story. “It was sooo big, Mommy!” Those were his words. It really amused me hearing him say that and it came along with a facial expression that you can only see in kids. Try to imagine that. (“,)

Anyway, have a safe and happy trip, mom! We’ll see you next week!
