He’s a Baby No More

With my son’s birthday coming so close, I am getting myself busy looking for the party venue. I already know what to get him as gifts and it’s not one of those JustStrollers.com baby strollers because he’s not a baby anymore. He will be turning nine. Oh boy! Before I know it, I will have a teen already.

And I already know where to get his outfit. It’s just the venue that is mind-boggling to me. There are a lot to choose from, but the prices are just too much. We have a budget to stick to so it’s kind of difficult. Could it have been that his birthday fell in the summertime, it would be easy to just do it at the park. But it’s in March; early spring, yes, but still cool, so outside is not an option.

One Day, He’ll Be a Heartbreaker

We will be celebrating our first month of being married tomorrow and you know what? It’s been a month of looking at our wedding photos for me because I keep on looking at them over and over again every single day. That day was very memorable for me. It was very special and even though I’ve looked at the photos a hundred times, every photo still puts a smile on my face.

One photo that really makes me smile is my son sitting on one of the benches in the church. He was in his suit and wearing a sweet smile. That suit really looked good on him. I’m glad we found one that would fit him and it was a set. We never had to browse the mens ties section which we are thankful for because we saved time and energy.

My son is really good looking and I know he will grow up to be a very handsome man – just like his daddy…(“,)

Any Excuse Will Do to Buy Me a New Dress

We have a lot of occasions or events to look forward to in the coming months and that is why as early as now, I am already checking for special occasion dresses online. I have already seen some that I really like but it’s still too early to order them so I will have to wait a few weeks before each occasion.

I just love those dresses. They are sexy but not provocative at all. I have also chosen what colors I will get and that will be my favorite colors of course which are red, blue, purple and black. Now I am getting giddy just thinking about it. (“,)

Taking Care of Business

Our days recently have been busy ones shopping for Christmas gifts and I never thought I would so enjoy the hustle and bustle the season brings. The malls are jam-packed and the traffic is just terrible but choosing gifts is just making me so excited.

We did some of our shopping at the mall but after we got home we checked the wholesale promo items store because we wanted to find some gifts for my family’s business clients. And we found not just beautiful things there but good deals too. We hope that by wishing our faithful clients a Merry Christmas that they will make our New Year not only happy, but merry and successful with their continued business.

Black Friday Beckons To Me

I’ve been hearing about it for a few years but since it only happens in the U.S., I wasn’t able to experience it. We will be in the U.S. two days before Thanksgiving meaning I will get to enjoy Black Friday which is the day after Thanksgiving. Yay! I can’t wait to go on a shopping spree. Temptation Galore!

I’m so thankful that I’ve finally gotten rid of my eBay account. I’ve already overspent there and I knew it had to stop before I ended up totally broke. Yeah, I’ve gotten rid of my account but, oh well, these online shopping stores still seem to be stalking me, I guess that’s because they are all over my Facebook home page. They are so tempting that I get this itch to shop and shop till I drop. Oh boy! Not again, please! LOL.

Nah, they maybe tempting but I know how to control myself now. I am saving for something and that motivates me to stop myself. I do wonder though if I will still be able to stop myself from shopping on a Cyber Monday. That still remains to be seen since I will be able to experience that as soon as I am in my fiancés country. But that is definitely something that I look forward to doing. I just hope my fiancé will be happy with it too. Hee hee

It’s Fun to Be Frugal

Sometimes I have second thoughts of taking my son with me when I go to the mall because he can be adamant when asking for something that he really wants. He won’t insist though if I tell him that the toy he chose is already beyond my budget. But still, the fact that he won’t leave the mall without buying some kind of toy can be irritating, especially if I don’t have enough money in my pocket. How I wish there was always sale at the mall toy stores and he would not only get a toy but two or perhaps three.

I told him once that once we’re at his Daddy Harry’s place, my fiancé in the U.S., he’ll get all the toys he wants as long as he’s a good boy because we can always get discounts from coupons or home everything coupons that my fiancée knows how to get online. I can still remember the smile of glee on his face when I told him that. And that put a smile on my face too because for sure, it’s not only him who’s going to enjoy the coupons, but me too. Saving is on my priority list and the more I save the better. So coupons, watch out for me. (“,)
