My Mother’s Day Sunday was spent here at home with my son. We played on the computer and indulged In sweets – chocolate mousse for me and ice cream for him. Those were leftovers from dad’s birthday on Friday. There were a lot of munchies left after the party that the kids, big and little alike, somehow neglected. LOL.

I can’t hardly remember how many slices I had, as well as how many cups of ice cream Yogi had, but I do remember one thing: there is still more cake and ice cream in the fridge and I guess I’ll be indulging even more within the next few days. And by next week, I think I’ll need to start looking for diets that work because I’ll certainly be getting baby bumps from indulging so much. No problem. It’s not always that we get to indulge since it’s not always dad’s birthday, though I have been known to find other excuses. Hehe.

Celebrating my son Yogi’s 7th birthday yesterday was a blast. I now have a seven-year-old boy and thinking about it makes me realize how time flies so fast. It all seems like yesterday when I was still holding him in my arms, still a baby and so fragile. Now he’s a BIG kid and already capable of doing a lot of things. And before I know it, I’ll already have a young adult, then an adult, and so on.

It makes me realize one more thing too – I’m not getting any younger. LOL. But It’s not at all biggy for me nor I am afraid of the future for I already have had made everything ready just in case. I already have a life insurance with my son as my beneficiary. I know it’s kind of weird talking about this but that’s life, and this is what reality is all about. I can only hope for a longer life ahead of me so I can see my son grow as an adult and see every milestone in his life. Such a nice thought to think of.

August 23 marked Montessori School of GSC’s Halloween Party entitled “Spooky Night.” It was the school’s first Halloween Party and it was a success. The kids really enjoyed the program and their costumes as well except for my son, Yogi. He was afraid to wear his costume. LOL. And it actually took him a while to hold mom’s mask. He did wear the mask but not the shirt. He could have won the best in costume if he wore it.

The first picture shows Yogi with his classmates in their cute costumes. The second picture is Yogi wearing his mask. And the third picture shows Yogi wearing his costume. But that’s already taken here at home, right after the Halloween Party at school. Oh well…

Anyway, Happy Halloween everyone! Hope you all enjoyed your trickin’ and treatin’. (“,)

It was the christening of my friend Nimfa’s son wherein I was a Godmother when this picture was taken. I wasn’t aware about this though not until my friend Jane told me about it. Yogi, her and our other friend Joy’s son Andrew went to see the playground. We just had our lunch that time and the rest of us were just sitting at the reception area chitchatting and all.

As per Jane, Yogi enjoyed the swing a lot. It was his first time, I think since they don’t have swings in school, only slides. He looked like he really had fun. That smile says it all.
