Flowers For Him

It was an hour ago earlier when I heard my son asking permission from my husband to go out of the house. My hubby asked him where he’s going and he answered that he will just look for something outside. I didn’t budge or anything, but I looked out from the window on where he’s going. He went to the side of the house and was gone. I didn’t see him coming towards the house when he get back so, I was surprised when he was holding some of these flowers here.

They are now growing in our front yard. I wasn’t the one who planted them though. My husband’s sister-in-law was the one who planted it a long time ago and even though it was snowed and all, still, they kept on growing.

My son put the flowers in a vase and it’s now sitting in his bathroom’s cabinet. I do wonder what came up with him. He’s been cleaning and arranging his room since yesterday and perhaps he thought that it needs flowers to beautify it the more. Nice thinking though because his bathroom is really looking good now with those flowers. (“,)

He’s Such a Go-Getter

My husband is always on the go and he simply can’t stay still even on the weekend. He always has to tinker on something. He was rewiring the wall phone earlier, and now, he’s tinkering the Moen faucets that we have in the kitchen and bathrooms. I was going to ask him what’s wrong with them, but I opted not to. I know there’s nothing wrong with it, and he was just checking it to be sure that there’s no leaks or something.

He’s such a boy scout, if I may say. Always ready and always good to go. Ummm, does that belong to the boy scout motto? Tell me. LOL.

The Light of My Life

We went to visit Yogi’s doctor yesterday for his follow-up visit. The doctor checked his wound from the operation and there was no problem. The wound had dried up so he only changed the gauze. We will be coming back to him after a month for another x-ray to check if the bone has healed. Then that will be the time then that the pins will be removed.

While the doctor was removing the cast and changed the gauze, I just kept on looking at the indoor lighting that his office has. I find it really unique. The outdoor lighting also caught my attention upon entering the clinic, though not lit, looks so unique too. It did give me an idea.

You do know that my fiancé is in the process of renovating his house for our arrival. Seeing that lighting gave me this itch to tell him to put some of this type up at our house too. Knowing him, I know he will agree with me; he always trusts my taste. (“,)

Boys Will Be Boys

I was busy arranging the office furniture in our home office around mid-morning yesterday when I received a call from Yogi’s teacher informing me that the school bus would not be of service the entire day because it broke down. Hearing that from her, I know I would be preparing myself after we talked because I needed to take Yogi to school. It was around 10 o’clock when she called and Yogi’s classes begin at 12 noon.

I hurriedly finished with the rearrangement that I was making in the office then I prepared Yogi for school and then got myself ready. We were both good to go by 11 o’clock and we left 10 minutes after that. I didn’t want to take the little one too early because he’d play before school started and would be dirty and sweaty when classes began at noon.

I fetched him at 5 o’clock, and just in time, too, before he’d already spent too much time playing with his classmates and friends; I wanted him clean when we got home to sit down to dinner. (“,)

I Love A Party!

There’s only five more days to go before my son’s 7th birthday. I already have plans of what food to buy, what his cake’s flavor and theme will be, and whom to invite. It will only be a small party and aside from a few of his close playmates and the family circle, I will just invite his godparents.

I will have my general cleaning done by Saturday to prepare the house and I will do my shopping galore tomorrow for the things needed for the party. I need to buy outdoor rugs to be used in the patio and near the main door. I also need to get those party hats and balloons for the kids; can’t forget about that! And of course, I will buy Yogi a new set of clothes for him to wear at the party, and perhaps me too. Good idea, eh! Hehe.

My weekend will definitely be a busy one!
