A Paradise Munchies

My Mother’s Day Sunday was spent here at home with my son. We played on the computer and indulged In sweets – chocolate mousse for me and ice cream for him. Those were leftovers from dad’s birthday on Friday. There were a lot of munchies left after the party that the kids, big and little alike, somehow neglected. LOL.

I can’t hardly remember how many slices I had, as well as how many cups of ice cream Yogi had, but I do remember one thing: there is still more cake and ice cream in the fridge and I guess I’ll be indulging even more within the next few days. And by next week, I think I’ll need to start looking for diets that work because I’ll certainly be getting baby bumps from indulging so much. No problem. It’s not always that we get to indulge since it’s not always dad’s birthday, though I have been known to find other excuses. Hehe.

A Family Pizza Fest

I treated my mom, my nieces and my son Yogi to Pizza Hut yesterday and we had a family size super pizza, a mango smoothie for Yogi and a glass of iced tea for each of the rest of us. I don’t think they will be needing an alli diet pill for indulging in those treats, though. They weren’t even full and my nieces joked that it didn’t even seem to reach their tummies.

I wasn’t aware how small their regular size is because when my friend and I ordered a regular size of their lasagna pizza recently, it was bigger than what we got. I was going to order lasagna pizza but unfortunately, it was no longer on the menu and available anymore, so I opted for the super pizza. Oh well, it was better than nothing.

Chocolates From Norway

Yogi’s godmother who is now working in Norway sent these chocolates last Christmas. She knows it is mine and Yogi’s weakness. And this was just the first among the many chocolates that she has given us. And there’s more coming soon, actually.

They are so yummy really. They are both dark chocolates and guess what? The chocolates were gone in less than an hour because Yogi and I gobbled them like we’ve just eaten chocolates for the first time. Hee hee.

Well, you know how delicious chocolates are so it’s understandable why we didn’t waste any time to eat them all. LOL.

Fries and Fruit Shake

It has always been like that. My son Yogi orders french fries and a glass of mango shake whenever we eat out during my BA’s visit here. He can be picky when it comes to food like almost all kids his age, I guess. He does eat rice though but not that much as I wanted him to. Well, he couldn’t indulge in french fries most of the time that’s probably why he took the opportunity. LOL.

This was lunch time but he only had those. I gave him fried rice and a piece of the pork that I ordered but he didn’t even taste it. I can’t force him to eat too, so, I just let him enjoy what he ordered and he said he was full. Oh well…

Last Meal

At the hospital, that is. This was our lunch and we were discharged afterward. As you can see, there’s another set of not just yummy looking food but really great tasting as well. I love the pork meatballs a lot. Yogi liked it too and that’s what he only ate. I had the fish stew all for myself and the dessert as well. Yogi can be picky when it comes to foods. Well, you know kids.
