I had to pick-up my son from the bus stop two hours earlier than usual today, and that is because they were released early. The teachers have a meeting about something. We were not informed about what it is about so most probably, it just got have to do with them or with the school or whatsoever.

This is the first time that he was released early since he started school late last year. And I was surprised to find out that he’s keeping himself busy by cleaning his room and arranging everything. He went right into his bedroom as soon as we got inside the house and I didn’t know he’s got plans of doing that today. He didn’t tell me a thing and I never told him to clean his room.

I know he will be playing with our neighbors later in the afternoon today so that is probably why he’s doing the chores as early as now. My son is such a good boy!

Who else am I referring to, but my 8-year-old son who is certainly a typical kid who doesn’t seem to get tired at all. Our more or less twelve hour road trip yesterday made me exhausted and I was really out of energy when we got home, but not him. He was still hyperactive as always and even played with the neighbors while I was dead in bed. LOL.

The husband was still full of energy too. Whoa! I think I need to work on it, huh so I will not be left behind. Poor me! Hmmm, I might go into some exercise regimen so I will always be good-to-go like them. I think that is the best thing to do. Hmmm, let me get started. I just hope I will even have the energy to start. Hee hee.

I can hear them giggling and laughing from my son’s bedroom, and it amuses me though I can also say it does distract me a bit. But no problem; I am almost done reading about african mango.

I ran across the words today and being a lover of the fruit mango, I thought it was a variety of mango, but it is not. It is an ingredient that is being used for diet pills since it reduces and burns fat quick. Interesting, isn’t it? It really pays to browse the net a lot.

I was so surprised of what I saw on our dining table when I went out of the bedroom today. There was a letter, a picture of the three of us in a frame (my husband, my son and I), a plate covered with another plate and two napkins. And yes, my 7-year-old son did it. I was really touched and was teary-eyed. I actually thought it was from my husband since it is our anniversary today on when we met online.

The plate has two sandwiches with spread, miracle whip is the spread, I know because that is my son’s favorite spread. I haven’t eaten it yet though. I don’t want to touch it because I just love looking at it. He used the plates and napkins from the wedding. That’s probably why he was so busy tinkering on my things last night. Sneaky little one! Just like my hubby, eh!

And the card says…

From: Yogi

To: Mommy and Daddy Harry,

Thank you for taking care of me Daddy Harry and Mommy

And he drew little hearts all over it. Awww, isn’t that sweet? Any mother’s heart would surely melt with the heart-warming gesture. I know my husband had seen it because he woke up at 5 o’clock a.m. to go to work. I still have to know later what he can say about it. (“,)

I am sitting here in front of the PC and the little one is sitting right behind my back, on the bed, and reading one book from the books that he received as gifts on Christmas from his stepsister, my fiance’s daughter. At the age of 7, he already reads very good though there are some english words yet that he can’t pronounced properly, but they are minimal. At his age, he’s already a good reader.

My fiance’ was listening to him and corrects him whenever there are words that he reads incorrectly. He reads it again after the correction and the second time that he read them all again, it was already perfect. Good boy, son! That makes me a proud mom.

It’s almost noon time in our part of the world and my little kiddo is still in lala land. I just didn’t wake him up because I know he’s still adjusting to the time. How I wish I can sleep like him. My sleeping hours has not been normal since we arrived here at Uncle Sam’s. There was once though that I slept straight from 10:00 p.m. to 12:30 p.m. the next day. But that was only it. How I wish it will happen again.

I already had my breaky and I called his name a few times but he didn’t budge. I do think he heard me calling his name but he’s just lazy to get up and he just wanted to sleep more. So after a few attempts, I just let him sleep. He’ll be up soon.

During our trip, his favorite word was “booriiing”. But I do understand for the entire 17 hour trip was really kind of boring. Glad we had our own television in every seat on our trip from Tokyo to Atlanta or it would really be super duper boring. Hehe.

We went next door last night and Yogi doesn’t want to leave. He’s having a great time playing with the kids but it was getting late and it’s time for the kids to go to bed so we had to leave. They still have plenty of time to play in the future though but knowing kids, they just can’t seem to get enough when it comes to playing.

It was our last night in Manila when Yogi had an accident. He broke his right humerus bone thus the hotel personnel had to call an ambulance to bring us to the nearest hospital. It was the first time that it happened to Yogi and it was really scary. I didn’t know what to do when I saw his deformed arm.

At the hospital, they’ve done an x-ray to see the damage. But since we’re leaving for home the next day, they just put a cast and a splint on it and advised us to see an ortho in our city.

The x-ray showed a grade 3 fracture. Meaning, Yogi’s humerus bone was not only broken but was also twisted. I will talk about what happened at the consultation with the ortho soon.

But… Guess where? Not on the bed but inside the bathroom while he was in the middle of taking a shower. I am talking about my 7-year-old son, Yogi.

It was around 4 o’clock in the afternoon yesterday when I told him that it’s time for him to take a shower. He’s been playing computer games since morning but I can’t blame him too since he doesn’t have playmates here.

Anyway, 20 or 30 minutes had passed and I was wondering why he’s still not done. Not hearing the sound of water splashing from the shower made me wonder too so I went to the bathroom and checked. There I found out that he had fallen asleep and was surprised when I opened the door.

I asked him what he’s doing and that’s when he told me that he had fallen asleep after putting shampoo on his hair. That was really funny and even him was laughing at himself. LOL. He was probably tired from too much playing. Gladly, we don’t have a tub or it would have been dangerous.

The little one’s weekend was spent playing on the computer during daytime and watching TV and doing his school assignments during the evening. His cousins who are his usual playmates didn’t spend their weekend here with us so he had nobody to play with. Therefore, I couldn’t complain about him using the computer and watching the TV, so I just let him enjoy himself and fill his time.

I was busy reading about lipozene reviews, anyway, so no problem. At least he wasn’t bugging me. He used the other PC and enjoyed himself while I used the other PC while keeping myself busy, the two of us doing our own thing yet spending time together. This is how we spend many of our weekends, more often than not, and it works for us, and we don’t get bored with each other. (“,)
